Doublers

Doublers are generally used inside a fitted or prefold diaper for extra absorbency. Doublers often have a soft fleece lining that lies against baby's bottom, keeping skin dry. Doublers without the fleece lining can be used in a pocket diaper along with an insert to add extra absorbency but often cannot be used alone in a pocket diaper (unless using two) because they may not be wide enough to cover the whole pocket opening which can cause leaks.
