Why are soft-soled baby or toddler shoes better for my child?
Allowing babies to walk barefoot in the first year helps them develop good toe gripping and muscular strength. While being barefoot is best for a baby, sometimes it isn't practical. Robeez has chosen the highest quality leather that is flexible, soft and breathable. The soft soles allow freedom of movement while protecting against injury.

What can I do if the elasticized ankle band is tight?
Robeez has taken great care to ensure a comfortable, secure fit for every child. If the ankle band of the shoes or booties is too loose or too snug, the elastic can be adjusted or replaced quickly and easily by you or a local alteration shop.

Are Robeez Soft Soles designs available in all sizes?
Robeez Soft Soles are available in sizes from newborn to four years. The specific sizes are 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months, and 18-24 months. Select designs are available in sizes 2-3 years and 3-4 years.

How long will my child be able to wear Robeez Soft Soles or Booties?
Both Robeez Soft Soles and Booties are sized in month-to-month increments for easy size selection. One pair will fit for approximately six months. Just like clothing, occasionally your child will get more than six months out of a pair of Robeez, and alternately sometimes a little less.

How can I find out what size my Robeez baby shoes are?
The size is printed underneath the Robeez label on the right shoe.

How do you know which shoe or bootie is the left or right shoe?
The Robeez label is only on the right shoe and bootie.

How do you put Robeez Soft Soles or Booties on?
The easiest way is to insert two fingers on either side of the ankle and stretch the elastic wide. Then scoop your baby's toes into the front of the footwear and hook the back of the footwear around the ankle.

What are the widths of Robeez Soft Soles and Booties?
Robeez shoes and booties are made out of soft leather which will mold to fit varying foot widths. The elastic ankle bands ensure the shoes move with your child's foot and stay on.

Should Robeez Soft Soles and Booties be worn with or without socks?
Either way. In colder months a pair of socks worn inside the shoes or booties will add a little extra warmth. An added benefit: the elasticized ankle band helps to keep socks on.

Are Robeez Soft Soles and Booties suitable for wearing outside?
Both shoes and booties are ideal for indoor and light outdoor use. Please note that Robeez products are not waterproof and should only be used in dry conditions when outdoors. Also, because Robeez products are made with genuine leather and suede, rough outside surfaces can wear them out prematurely.

Are Robeez baby shoes and booties machine-washable?
Yes, you can periodically machine-wash them in cold water. Wash separately, as dark colors may bleed. Partially dry your Robeez shoes or booties on a low setting in the dryer, then reshape them and let air-dry completely. For regular upkeep and extended wear, hand wash with mild detergent or spot clean using mild detergent and a damp cloth.

Do I need to wash Robeez Soft Soles or Booties separately from the rest of my laundry?
Just like new clothes, sometimes colored leathers can run when they come in contact with moisture. To prevent colors from running onto other laundry, wash and thoroughly dry the footwear a couple of times before washing with the rest of your laundry.

What type of lining is used in the Robeez Booties?
Booties are lined with cuddly soft, teddy bear plush polyester knit. The lining is durable, breathable and washable. 

Can Robeez Soft Soles or Booties packaging be recycled?
At Robeez, we recognize the importance of recycling; we encourage you to recycle the cardboard insert at your local recycling facility. The vinyl packaging can then be reused in a variety of different ways. Here are some suggestions:
