Inserts Inserts are absorbent multi-layer fabrics that are placed inside of a pocket diaper to make the diaper an all-one. Inserts can be made of any absorbent material with hemp being the most absorbent. Doublers are generally used inside a fitted or prefold diaper for extra absorbency. Doublers often have a soft fleece lining that lies against baby's bottom, keeping skin dry.
