Fitted & Prefold Diapers

Fitted Diapers

Fitted diapers are shaped diapers with elastic legholes and waistband. They can be fastened with Snappi diaper fasteners, pins, snaps or Aplix/VELCRO®. They require a separate waterproof cover.

Fitted diapers are easier to use than prefolds – no special folding involved!

Prefold Diapers

A flat rectangle of multi-layered absorbent fabric that can be used in almost any diapering system, either on its own or as an insert or doubler. Can be made from cotton or hemp; cotton prefolds usually have two or more extra layers of material down the middle for more absorbency.

Prefolds are very versatile-they can be used as diapers with or without fasteners and can also be used as inserts, doublers and burpcloths! They wash and dry quickly and you can use doublers or hemp prefolds (more absorbent than cotton) to increase absorbency.
