While visiting her family in Sweden, “Mom-preneur”, Kaisa Levine discovered Nosefrida. Her six-week-old son came down with a horrible cold and could not nurse, breathe, nor sleep. As his cold became worse, she took him to the doctor in hopes of relief. The Swedish pediatrician immediately recommended Nosefrida, a well known nasal aspirator in Europe. It worked so well, she packed her suitcase full of Nosefridas and brought them back to the US to show local pediatricians. The pediatricians loved it, and Kaisa started receiving knocks on her door in the middle of the night from sleep deprived parents asking for “the snotsucker lady.” Kaisa, along with her business partner Sarah Perilli, started FridaBaby to bring Nosefrida “The Snotsucker” to American parents. With the support of pediatricians, ENT’s, pulmonologists, nurses, midwives, and of course, moms & dads, Nosefrida has become a household name.
FridaBaby has recently began importing a second product from Sweden, The Windi, to help babies with colic and other gas-related issues. A small two-person company located in Miami Beach, FridaBaby works provide natural solutions for everyday baby problems, bringing relief to babies, children, moms, & dads throughout North America. |
