CARE & HANDLING OF DIMPLESKINS PRODUCTS

All of MUNCHSKINS Balms are packaged in 'food grade' tins, which have been disinfected with 99% alcohol before use. We recommend you take the following steps to ensure the quality and shelf life of your Balm:

• Use product with clean hands
  
• Keep out of sunlight and away from extreme heat as it will melt the product and harm both the vitamins and essential oils
  
• Avoid water as it may rust the underside of the tin and promote the growth of bacteria. Note: if you see 'rust' in the Sweet Cheeks Body Balm-it is, in fact, Vanilla oil! NOT RUST! The Vanilla oil that we use is completely pure and does not break down upon melting. It may settle and appear in the bottom of the product.

• Keep the lid on to avoid dust or dirt entering the tin, and to preserve the life of the Essential Oils.

All of DIMPLESKINS products are made without the use of chemical preservatives. We avoid the addition of water in the products (i.e. liquid moisturizer), as it promotes bacteria growth, unless you add a chemical preservative or use up the product within a few weeks. To remain chemical-free, DIMPLESKINS products are naturally preserved with pure, organic Vitamin E oil (Tocopherol). Extending the shelf life of your product depends on it's proper care and handling. Essential Oils are volatile (evaporate) when exposed to air, so avoid keeping your tin open.

The Avocado Cleansing Bar goes through a 4 week process. A batch is handmade, sliced 24 hours later, then sits to cure for 3-4 weeks.

The soap is completely unscented and extremely mild for delicate little bodies. It makes a fabulous shampoo bar, too!
