Alas, a great product does not a company make. We realized that early success would depend on getting the word out to midwives, childbirth educators and lactation consultants that there was a new nursing bra to rave about - comfortable, stylish and affordable. Their response was overwhelmingly positive.
And voila! Bravado! Designs was born as a home-based business in 1992, the brainchild of two young mothers. Our first bra was launched in 3 sizes and 2 colours. In a short time we outgrew the kitchen table and now we offer our Original Nursing Bra in 12 sizes and 6 colours, the Supreme Nursing Bra for fuller-breasted women, the Lifestyle Microfiber Nursing Bra to take you from work to home to play, and the Essential Nursing Bra Tank which is fabulous - inside and out; amazing underwear and a revolutionary breast pad. Today, Bravado! bras are worn and loved by moms worldwide, including celebrity moms like Angelina Jolie, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Garner and Britney Spears. Although we continue to grow, our philosophy remains the same as it was all those years ago: to strive, above all else, to bolster and enhance a mother’s self-image during the triumphant, yet challenging time of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
